Poke (pr. Poh-Kay) is a traditional Hawaiian dish. Typically Poke is raw sushi grade fish over rice with various toppings. Our midwestern take on Poke has a variety of raw and cooked seafood, grilled chicken, as well as vegetarian and vegan options. Highland Heights is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Highland Heights follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. First time experience at Poke Cleveland. First impression was place was empty, open and clean. Was greated immediately and took me sometime to figure out what they offer. So I went basic, brown rice, chicken bowl with green onions, corns and jalapeños with a teriyaki sauce. Portions were fair and taste was what you would excpect from these ingredients.

Food was delicious and fresh. Team member was kind and knowledgeable. I'm only disappointed there weren't more people here. I finished it before I remembered to take a picture, but it was just as beautiful as it was tasty.

The owner was one of the most down to earth people I have ever met, and that isn’t an exaggeration. He made us feel so welcomed and valued as a customer. The food is soooo good and the ingredients are incredibly fresh, i’m not even kidding I would sell my left kidney to eat this everyday. It even topped every Poke restaurant I went to in New York. Run don’t walk y’all!

We arrived late in terms of lunch. No queue and some comment that new management / owners were in for a while - as front looks different in my photos to Google Maps images. Food was great, set bowls or customise your own. Decent pricing too. Would recommend a visit. It was very quiet when we were there at 14:40 on a Monday. A clean single bathroom and loads of parking.

AMAZING!! Staying in Cleveland for two nights and drove 45 minutes to this location on the recommendation of a friend and it was definitely worth the detour. Super fresh, generous portions, quick to make, and easy to customize for protein and flavor (2 of us are picky eaters). I went with chicken on greens and a combo of sweet/spicy/salty. The flavor was out of this world and very satisfying. It was actually a very healthy meal but the intense flavor from the sauce combo made it feel like a cheat meal, which was a perfect combo! This was actually my first poke' experience and I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty it was. I even thought about taking a second one to go, it was that good. And, last but not least, solid customer service! Very pleasing all around. Highly, highly recommend.
